PAYDAY 2

Payday 2 is a cooperative first-person shooter video game developed byOverkill Software. The game was released on 13 August 2013 and it is the sequel to Payday: The Heist. In the game, players plan and carry out various heists and robberies by using a combination of teamwork, stealth and firearms. Gameplay has been heavily improved and expanded since its predecessor, with a number of new abilities, as well as a reworked stealth mechanic.

Gameplay[edit]

Perk Trees

• Mastermind

Provides perks for dealing with NPCs, such as extra cable ties for taking hostages or having the option to manipulate guards and officers into surrendering or fighting for the player's team. This tree also includes medical supplies for allies.

• Enforcer

Provides offensive perks such as increased ammunition, carried in the form of "ammo bags", and heavier body armor. This tree also includes a rotary saw tool for forcing entry to fences, doors, lockboxes, and ATMs.

• Technician

Enhances interaction with tools and explosives, such as having better drilling capabilities or enhancing body armor. This tree includes various explosives and an automatic sentry disguised as a briefcase.

• Ghost

Provides perks associated with stealth, allowing a player to sneak around the map silently. This tree includes equipment for overriding security cameras and hacking into ATMs.

The game includes "Crime.Net", a heist interface most likely located in the deep web as a way for clients to locate people that are in the profession of breaking and entering so that that individual may procure a certain item or sabotage unto another. Heists may be a one-hit job (known as a one day job in most cases) or be part of a series of crimes related to a single heist, known as a Multi-Day job eg. "Fire Starter". The characters' actions have impact on later heists within a series. For example, in the heist "The Elephant: Framing Frame", the escape vehicle is less likely to be chased and crash in the next phase if the player or players have performed the previous phase without being seen.
